Each piece is made from original molds then individually hand etched by the artist using petroglyphs and cultural motifs from the history of his own clan.
The pottery is then kiln fired, and hand painted to create a truly unique one of a kind piece of art.

Binishtaa' Yanito is a Navajo artist and the daughter of renowned Navajo artist Curtis Yanito. Raised near Monument Valley, Binishtaa' grew up surrounded by her family's artistic traditions and developed a passion for pottery and craftsmanship.

Her pottery features hand-etched petroglyph designs and Southwest imagery, combining traditional Navajo influences with her own contemporary approach to ceramic art. Her pieces are carefully crafted and often feature detailed etched designs and distinctive, natural-looking finishes.

Binishtaa' represents the next generation of the Yanito family of artists, continuing her family's tradition of creating distinctive Navajo artwork.

The figures and designs in Binishtaa’s carvings are inspired by an authentic history passed down by her own Navajo Clan. Many of these images can be explained by her father in his illustrations included in his biography. Artist Bio
