Zetta was a nationally recognized, self-taught multimedia artist whose work has been represented in numerous prestigious galleries. Raised in Tucson, where she resided throughout her life, she drew constant inspiration from the beauty and spirit of the Sonoran Desert. Her whimsical style, expressed through bright and colorful paintings of the region, brought joy and a sense of wonder to all who experienced her work.

She once reflected, “I can’t remember a time in my life when I was not involved in some sort of art,” and believed deeply that her artistic talent was a gift from God.

Zetta’s work was also exhibited in Santa Fe, further establishing her presence within the Southwest art community.

Zetta passed away on December 10, 2025. We are honored to feature the final sixteen pieces of her collection in our gallery as a tribute to her life and legacy.

Beyond her artistic accomplishments, Zetta was a kind and compassionate woman, as well as an active member and artist within her church community. She will be remembered not only for her vibrant creations, but for the warmth and light she brought to those around her.
